Microgaming, the leading online gaming software provider, is thrilled to announce that it has signed a deal with Victor Chandler International Limited in terms of which the operator’s BetVictor Poker site will transfer all of its poker business to Microgaming’s Poker network.
BetVictor Poker currently operates on International Game Technology’s Entraction Poker Network along with the Microgaming Poker Network but will be moving entirely to the Microgaming Poker Network by the end of this month.
The deal between Victor Chandler International Limited and Microgaming comes after the American computerized gaming equipment designer and manufacturer, International Game Technology’s announcement that it would be closing the enterprise after purchasing online gambling software developer Entraction Holding in June of last year for over $114 million.
International Game Technology had recently lessened its presence of its’ Entraction Poker Network in several uncertain markets that included Canada, Russia and Israel and its decision to close the Poker Network follows a reduction in revenues from its real-money gambling services.
Network Games Head for Microgaming, Lydia Melton, said they are thrilled that BetVictor Poker has decided to choose to make the Microgaming Poker Network its exclusive poker provider. Melton added that the Microgaming Poker Network has seen dramatic advances over the past year with developments by the Network Management Board and the launch of their True Value rake allocation method making it the natural choice for leading operators. She also said that they were confident that players at BetVictor Poker will feel very much at home on the Microgaming Poker Network.
Andy Horne, speaking on behalf of BetVictor Poker, said that they are looking forward to consolidating their online poker business on the Microgaming Poker Network where they have been serving customers in a selection of International markets ever since late last year.
