WagerWorks, the online casino software branch of gaming company IGT, has announced the launch of a new branded online video slot which is based on the still popular Hollywood film Ghostbusters that was released by Columbia Pictures in 1984.
The Ghostbusters, Peter Venkman, Egon Spengler, Raymond Stantz and Winston Zeddemore are the high paying symbols in this new video slot game. The low paying symbols are the equipment that the Ghostbusters use for their trade. Ghostbusters features two wild symbols, the Slime and Gozer the evil spirit, which both also award the highest line payouts.
A spin in the main game can trigger one of four Mystery Features in the Ghostbusters slot game, provided that no other bonus feature is triggered. All current payouts are enhanced by 1x to 5x with the Multiplier while a bonus of between 50 times to 1,000 times the coin value is awarded in the Cash Award. Reels 1 and 3 are completely turned into Slime wilds in the Wild Reels feature. The Extra Wilds feature at first turns from 1 to 4 positions into wilds.

The Stay Puft Free Spins Bonus is the highlight of the Ghostbusters Slot game and is triggered by two Ghostbuster logos with Gozer. Players are awarded eight free spins which are played on a different set of reels. The 30 pay lines are increased to 40 and the payouts have been reduced. The symbols on the reels have also been changed in this Bonus.
