A special conference for operators of online casinos subscribing to its games and its development partners was recently hosted by QuickFire, the open software platform that was developed by Microgaming.
The QuickFire Developers Conference that was held on Tuesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 16, at the Fontwell Park Racecourse conference centre in West Sussex was attended by more than 40 operator delegates and 12 development partners.
Richard Swann of Unibet, Stuart McCarthy of BetClick, Gary Wimbridge of Sky Betting and Gaming and Henrik Homgren of Betsson were amongst the top gambling operators who attended this unique conference. They all revealed that they had appreciated the effort that had gone into the conference to make it such an enjoyable event.
According to a press advisory from QuickFire, the conference was held in order to discuss cutting edge technology as well as the development of the QuickFire platform. A spokes person for Quickfire, Ashley Sanyford-Sykes, added “The event enlightened all parties as to each other’s needs and the outcome is a united belief that a continued focus on the quality and innovation of gaming content is necessary.”
The conference provided an open forum that enabled development companies to gain knowledge from QuickFire technical experts and in so doing contribute to the QuickFire open platform strategy. Open platform systems and independent software development was also discussed while the highlight of the conference was the discussion on the Development Partner Software Development Life Cycle with the QuickFire team outlining the criteria that is necessary in order to make a successful development partner.
