New Lobby Design for Microgaming Rooms

The Microgaming Network unveiled a new look to its online poker lobby on Thursday, November 8 in an attempt to remain competitive and provide their customers with the best service possible.

After launching its new Microgaming poker room on Thursday, Betsson was one of the first to display Microgaming’s new design.

There are currently only a few of the network’s rooms that display the new look but all of Microgaming’s rooms will be given the reshaped look within the next few weeks.

Betsson was one of the major influences behind Microgaming’s new look and the network’s PR team stated that it was fundamental in shaping the design and functions of Microgaming’s new lobby.

The navigation system is one of the major features changed in the reshaped lobby. The left hand sidebar for choosing game types and stakes has been removed and has been replaced with a simpler tiered tab system that has been designed to allow players to find their desired games in an easier manner. Players can switch between cash games and tournaments via large buttons at the top while a lower set of tiers enables players to filter by game types.

The Bad Beat Jackpot (BBJ) ticker takes center stage on the menu bar of the new lobby. Microgaming and Boss Media / GTECH G2 are two of a few remaining sites that still feature the Bad Beat Jackpot. PartyPoker removed the Bad Beat Jackpot in March of this year while Merge Gaming also announced the removal in August.

Microgaming is currently sitting in 10th place on PokerScout’s rankings but it is hoping that this will improve with the addition of Betsson.
