Microgaming, the world’s most reputable and largest provider of online gaming software, is thrilled to announce that it has been chosen as the winner of this year’s Award for Corporate Social Responsibility at the Isle of Man Newspapers Awards for Excellence.
The award was sponsored by Baker Tilly Isle of Man and was open to any entrants who had demonstrated an integrated culture of building co-operation across public and/or private sectors for the benefit of the island and the community.
Natalie Radford, a spokesperson for Baker Tilly Isle of Man, said that like most companies, they would like to do more for the local community and for the island that supports them and their clients. Natalie added that the reason for sponsoring the award is to raise awareness of the necessity for all businesses to recognize that without putting something back into the island, they are failing in their responsibilities.
Microgaming won the award for its involvement through the local community which includes widespread sponsorship deals with Manx sports clubs and societies such as the National Cycling Team, Team Microgaming Isle of Man and the Microgaming Health and Care Trust which has donated in excess of GBP 700,000 to registered charities in Isle of Man since its inception in 2002.
The online gaming software provider has always placed a lot of importance on its corporate social responsibility by conducting its’ business in a responsible and professional manner.
