Microgaming Makes Generous Charitable Donation

Microgaming, one of the highest recognized providers of online casino software has always been known as an operator that uses its money to make several generous donations to local charities and recently the Microgaming Health & Care Trust has decided to make a donation to Noble’s Hospital.

The donation will be used to donate life-saving medial equipment to the hospital that is situated on the Isle of Man which is the jurisdiction in which Microgaming is located. It is not known how much money the hospital spent on the equipment but according to a press release, it was a “significant” donation.

Staff from Noble Hospital revealed that the donation has been used for the purchase of a much needed Ultrasound Scanner, Panda infant Resuscitating Monitor and a Phototherapy Fiber Optic System, which will be distributed to separate departments in the hospital.

The Ultrasound Scanner will be used on the Medical Unit to assist doctors in diagnosing chest and rheumatology conditions and to perform liver biopsies.

The Phototherapy Fiber Optic System which has been named the Biliblanket is a new piece of equipment that is required for the treatment of neonatal jaundice. Babies born with jaundice have the blanket wrapped around them to allow their parents to bond with them while still receiving treatment instead of remaining in an incubator to receive the necessary phototherapy.

The state of the art new Infant Resuscitating Monitor will be used in the maternity ward in order to assist babies who are born requiring resuscitation.

Microgaming Health & Care Trust Chairman, Dr Roy Clague, said that they continue to fund projects where there is a gap in the local community and are delighted to provide this essential equipment to the hospital.

Chief Nurse at Noble’s Hospital, Bev Critchlow, said that they are very grateful to Microgaming Health & Care Trust for their support and thanked them on behalf of their patients, their families and their staff.
