Microgaming Joins GSA Europe as Platinum Member

GSA Europe, the European arm of the worldwide Gaming Standards Association, was pleased to welcome aboard Microgaming this month. The Isle of Man based casino software provider, joined GSA Europe as a Platinum Member, and expects to benefit greatly from the membership.

The president of GSA, Peter DeRaedt said that the association was very pleased that Microgaming had become a Platinum member. “As a proven leader in the online world with widespread influence and valuable insights into the industry on the continent, we look forward to their participation and their commitment to our work,” he said.

Members receive numerous benefits such as European legal jurisdiction, input into GSA strategy and direction, and more.

The chief executive officer of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever said about the group joining the association: “The benefits of joining GSA Europe are considerable. As a Platinum member, Microgaming has reinforced its position as the industry leader in developing, implementing and promoting new technical gaming standards. We are excited to continue our work in this field with other GSA members.”

Other big names in the industry are already part of the GSA at Platinum level and include International Game Technology (IGT), Playtech, Scientific Games International (SGMS) and Aristocrat Technologies. Multiple groups are also members at other levels, including Oregon Lottery, the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Intralot SA, Ainsworth Games Technology, eBet Gaming Systems and the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
