Kiron Signs Virtual Sports Deal with Veikkaus

Kiron Interactive, a leading internet gaming group, is pleased to announce that they have signed a content supply deal with Veikkaus that will see it provide its entire sports games portfolio of 17 Virtual Sports games including its exclusive winter themed sports, Speed Skating and Hockey Shots to the Finnish company.

In terms of the deal, Veikkaus will offer both land as well as online versions of the games to their customers. Virtual Sports games give punters a chance to place wagers on “make believe” sports matches, which are then played out on their computer screen.   These games are extremely popular all across Europe, where virtual soccer matches can be played out.

Following the process of a public tender, government owned Veikkaus, which has an exclusive betting license on lotteries and sports betting in Finland, chose Kiron Interactive.

Steven Spartinos, the Chief Executive Officer of Kiron Interactive, commented on the new deal by saying that they are always looking to expand their operations in regulated markets, and that is exactly what they have done with Veikkaus.

Spartinos went on to say that this deal marks yet another step forward for Kiron Interactive and they are very eager to get started as they know                                                                                                                     their varied portfolio of games will prove extremely popular in Finland, especially their winter titles.

Timo Kliskinen, Senior Vice President of ICT, revealed that Veikkaus is always looking to increase value for their customers. He added that Kiron’s tailored content is sure to prove a big hit with their players as they look to offer them something fresh, new and of the highest quality.
