International Game Technology Renews Partnership with Synot Group

International Game Technology (IGT) is pleased to announce that it has signed an eight-year contract extension with the Synot Group to 2016 that will see it will continue to provide system software and game content for Synot’s interactive video terminals (IVTs) in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

The agreement, that was brokered by IGT’s GTECH Sweden Interactive subsidiary also covers maintenance and game content enhancements, including installation, operational and technical support and will also see the company adding new games each year.

Miroslav Valenta Jr., Sales Director at Synot Group, commented on the extension by saying that their players enjoy first-class entertainment through IGT’s innovative designs and technology. He also said that with their deep knowledge of players’ needs and their long-term experience in the Czech and Slovak markets, they are able to maintain the leading position in the gaming industry in both countries.

Vanenta Jr., went on to say that the system enables a geographically widespread server-based solution, catering to thousands of their players in various locations. He added that they are eagerly looking forward to continuing their partnership with IGT and adding new game content and offerings throughout the following ten 10 years.

Walter Bugno, IGT Chief Executive Officer, International, revealed that Synot Group is a major player in the gaming machine markets in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia and they are happy to continue delivering their proven solutions and services in these key markets. Bugno also said that this extension further strengthens their relationship with Synot as they endeavor to explore additional joint opportunities in the future.
