International Game Technology Awarded Romanian Licensing

International Game Technology is thrilled to reveal that it has been granted two Romanian Class II Licenses by the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN).

International Game Technology was awarded the two Romanian Class II Licenses for Software Provision and Platform Management that will see the group now being allowed to use the power of its Remote Game Server in order to offer its products and services to customers in Romania.

The market in Romania was opened to all operators and providers who complied with a new gaming regulation that was passed by Romania during 2015.

Gianluca Ballocci, International Game Technology’s Vice President of Commercial Interactive Sales and B2C Operations, commented on being granted the licenses from the Romanian National Gambling Office by saying that being awarded these two Romanian Class II licenses further enhances the International Game Technology group’s presence in strategic regulated markets and increases their support for their customers’ growth strategy. Ballocci went on to say that the group is eagerly looking forward to delivering the most robust portfolio of games in the industry and well-known International Game Technology game content to both operators as well as players throughout Romania.

International Game Technology (IGT) is a multinational gaming company that produces slot machines and other gaming technology.   Headquartered in London, the company has major offices in Providence, Las Vegas and Rome.

The group showcased its industry-leading portfolio of jackpot themes and multi-game suites at the Australasian Gaming Expo at the Sydney Exhibition Centre in Australia earlier this month.
